Buckle up buckaroos... Creek are hitting Lulie Tavern on Friday 22 September!
Forming in Naarm/Melbourne after bonding over a shared love of The Allman Brothers Band, and the psychedelic/progressive rock soundscapes of the 1960’s/70’s; Creek are “four down-to-earth blokes” with Telecasters, determined to make some noise on this planet. With most attempts to draw sonic comparisons rendered futile, owing to each band members’ diverse influences emerging in their workings, Creek rectify any stigmas surrounding rock music in the modern age. In the several years of their existence, Creek have developed a local reputation for their captivating live shows and musicianship – having performed with the likes of 1000Mods, The Seven Ups, and The Black Sorrows – along with their eclectic songwriting stylings, best defined as a concoction of psychedelic rock, southern blues and prog rock.
